Radial shaft seal

Remove/install

Remove the transmission

Attach transmission to assembly stand

Remove the central clutch release bearing

Pry radial shaft sealing ring (1) out of its seat



Gear oils (Sheet 235.10)

BB00.40-P-0235-10A


Do not attach lever between radial shaft sealing ring (1) and seat.
If the seat is damaged, the front section of the transmission housing must be replaced.

 Installation: Replace radial shaft sealing ring (1). Clean seat of radial shaft sealing ring (1) and coat sealing lip with transmission oil before installing
