	Removal
	Notes on self-locking nuts and bolts		AH00.00-N-0001-01A
1	Remove seat cushion		AR91.10-W-3311A
2	Remove driver's seat		AR91.10-W-3300A
3	Remove shift control unit (7)		AR26.60-W-0012B
4	Remove cover (8) from console (9)	The cover (8) is clipped in the console (9) with two metal clamps.
5	Remove gear control (GS) wiring harness (11) from the console (9)
6	Remove screws (10) and then remove console (9)
7	Remove screw (1)
8	Detach right trim piece (6) from the seat frame, from the front trim piece and from the left trim piece	 Do not damage the upper mount (3), lower mount (4) and bracket (2). Carefully remove the upper mount (3) from the bracket (2) by pulling it down, then press the right trim piece (6) upwards and pull it outwards from the lower mount (4).
9	Carefully remove the right trim piece (6) above the seat belt buckle (5)
10	Detach connector (12) from multipoint connector
11	Drill out the rivet on the line clamp (14) and remove clamp
	The attachment of the gear control (GS) wiring harness (11) on the driver seat has been modified	 As of VIN end no. 935000.	BT26.20-W-0001-01A
12	Remove gear control (GS) wiring harness (11)
	Install
13	Mount the gear control (GS) wiring harness (11) to the seat frame using a line clamp (14)	 The lower installation marking (arrow) must be visible above the line clamp (14).
	The attachment of the gear control (GS) wiring harness (11) on the driver seat has been modified	 As of VIN end no. 935000.	BT26.20-W-0001-01A
14	Mount the gear control (GS) wiring harness (11) at the intended spots on the seat frame using tie straps	 The upper installation marking (arrow) must be visible above the upper tie strap. Route the gear control (GS) wiring harness (11) in such a way that it does not rub against anything and so that it is not sharply bent.
15	Insert connector (12) into the multipoint connector
16	Install right trim piece (6)
17	Install console (9)
18	Install gear control (GS) wiring harness (11) into the console (9)
19	Install cover (8)
20	Install shift control unit (7)		AR26.60-W-0012B
21	Install driver seat		AR91.10-W-3300A
22	Install seat cushion		AR91.10-W-3311A
23	Check gear control (GS) for proper operation.	To do this, shift through all gears.
