Remove
1 Remove clutch bearing (1) from clutch throwout lever (3).
2 Remove bolts (2) and remove clutch throwout lever (3).
Check
3 Check clutch bearing (1) for wear and replace if necessary.
4 Check clutch throwout lever (3).
In the event of sluggishness or too large play, disassemble clutch throwout lever (3) and replace worn or damaged parts. Assemble clutch throwout lever (3). When assembling, grease all bearing points (arrows) lightly.
Install
5 Insert clutch throwout lever (3) and tighten bolts (2) to the specified tightening torque.
6 Grease guide tube on transmission and clutch bearing (1).
Not with a nickel plated guide tube.
7 Insert clutch bearing (1) into the clutch throwout lever (3) and check correct seat.
The stop on the clutch bearing (1) must point upwards or downwards.
