2 | Detach coolant vent line (1) from the radiator and set aside | Installation: Replace cable tie. | |
3 | Remove radiator grille (2) | ||
4 | Remove screw/bolts (5) for radiator crossmember (6) | | |
5 | Detach radiator crossmember (6) | Release retaining clip from the hood cable. | |
6 | Detach electrical plug socket (7) from fan shroud (8) | ||
Danger! | Risk of death caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform. | Align vehicle between columns of vehicle lift and position four support plates at vehicle lift support points specified by vehicle manufacturer. | |
7 | Lift/jack up vehicle | ||
8 | Remove underride guard | ||
9 | Remove screw/bolt (9) from fan shroud | ||
10 | Unclip clip retainers (10) | ||
11 | Pull fan shroud (8) up and out of the radiator guides and radiator console | Installation: Ensure that fan shroud (8) with retaining lugs (11, 12) is correctly seated in the guides for the radiator and the radiator console. | |
12 | Install in the reverse order |
