3 | Take off cover (16) | ||
4 | Detach coolant lines (2, 3, 4) | Installation: Check coolant lines and hose clamps and replace if necessary. | |
5 | Disconnect electrical connector from coolant temperature sensor (B11/4) | ||
6 | Unscrew bolt (9) of lifting eye (6) | | |
7 | Remove bolt (9) of shock absorber (49) | | |
8 | Remove bolts (7, 8) of coolant thermostat housing (30) | | |
9 | Remove coolant thermostat housing (30) with coolant thermostat (27) | Installation: Clean sealing surface on coolant thermostat housing and front cover. | |
Replace O-ring (31) of coolant thermostat housing. | |||
10 | Install in the reverse order | ||
