Removing

Remove engine oil cooler

AR18.30-T-1000A

Disassembling

Detach engine oil cooler (4) from engine oil cooler housing (2)

 Unscrew bolts (1) for this step and take out engine oil cooler.

Remove gasket (3).

Unscrew plug (5) of oil filter bypass valve

Take out seal (6), spring (7) and oil filter bypass valve (8) one after the other



Assembling



Before assembling, clean all parts and inspect for wear.

Replace parts if necessary

Insert gasket (3) into engine oil cooler housing

 Installation:

- Use new gasket.

- Coat gasket on one side with sealant.

- The graphited side of the gasket must face toward engine oil cooler housing.

Insert engine oil cooler (4) into engine oil cooler housing (2) and tighten bolts (1) fully



Insert oil filter bypass valve (8) and spring (7) into the hole

Fit seal (6) onto the screw plug (5), insert screw plug and tighten fully


