3	Remove soundproofing on top right of frame
4	Remove air intake hose (1) at crankcase breather line, air intake pipe and turbocharger	 Installation: Inspect air intake hose (1) and clamps for damage and replace if necessary.

5	Remove cable tie on electrical wiring harness (4) at frame and route electrical wiring harness (4) on frame outwards
 Danger!	Risk of injury caused by pinching or crushing when working on springs or spring bodies that are under tension	Use only approved tensioning devices; shield off hazard area if necessary. 6	Slacken poly-V belt (3) on alternator (G2) and remove at belt pulley (10) and guide pulley (2)	 Installation: Inspect condition of poly-V belt (3), replace if necessary.

7	Detach guide pulley (2) and washer (8) on carrier (9); push away guide pulley (2) on carrier (9)	 The bolt on the guide pulley (2) cannot be removed.

8	Disconnect ground line (5) on alternator (G2)		*BA15.40-N-1010-01M
9	Remove cable tie, unlock connector (6) with securing clamp and disconnect at alternator (G2)	 Installation: In addition secure safety clamp with a cable tie.
10	Detach electric cable (7) at generator (G2)		*BA15.40-N-1002-01M
11	Remove alternator (G2) at carrier (9) and remove between the charge air pipe and frame	 Installation: Check alternator (G2) belt pulley (10) for damage and concentricity;: 
		Replace belt pulley (10) if necessary. Also counterhold alternator shaft using a socket wrench.
