1	Disconnect ground cable at battery	 Installation: -Encode radio. -Set time of clock.	AR54.10-S-0005A
 Danger!	Hazard from vehicle slipping or toppling off lift platform	Align vehicle between columns of lift platform and position the four mounting plates at the lift platform mounting points specified by vehicle manufcturer.	AS00.00-Z-0010-01A
2	Cover all attached parts remaining in vehicle (area to be repaired)	 See Operating Instructions
3	Take off front right wheel		AR40.10-S-1100A
4	Detach right drive shaft (arrow) from middle drive shaft	 Tie up right drive shaft to the side.	AR33.30-S-7706M
5	Slacken poly V-belt	 Detach poly V-belt at generator.

6	Slacken torque struts at anti-roll bar and place to the side	 Detach torque struts at anti-roll bar at driver and passenger side.	AR32.35-S-2050M
7	Pull off cover (3)

9.1	Detach top charge air hose	 Only with engine 601.970	AR09.41-S-8620A
		 Slacken charge air hose only at the top and place to the side.
10	Unscrew bolts (4)	 Top bolt (4) is screwed into the bracket from the generator.
		 Detach bottom charge air hose and place to the side to provide easier access

11	Remove generator (G1)
12	Install in the reverse order
