8 Stationary engine support

9 Drive shaft

4 Circlip

5 O-ring (on automatic transmission only)

6 Spring pin

	Remove
1	Disconnect right drive shaft (9) from center drive shaft (1)	 Tie back drive shaft (9).	AR33.30-S-6500M
2	Remove brake caliper	 Do not disconnect the brake hose, but push it to one side so that it does not interfere with work.	AR42.10-S-0070A
3	Unscrew nuts on left and right struts of anti-roll bar	 Turn up anti-roll bar.
4	Drain transmission oil	 without code G40 (manual transmission)	AP26.00-D-2601A
		 with code G40 (automatic transmission)	AP27.00-D-2701A
5	Pull off center drive shaft		AR33.30-S-7706-01A
		 Puller	*638589013300
6	Remove spring pin (4) from center drive shaft (1)
7	Pull out rubber ring (3)
8	Remove center drive shaft (1)	 Turn the steering to the right until the center drive shaft can be pulled out.
9	Remove ball bearing (2)	 Only when replacing the center drive shaft or bearing.  If the ball bearing (2) remains on the center drive shaft 

	Install
10	Install ball bearing (2) for center drive shaft with the aid of the tool	 Drift	*638589031500
11	Install center drive shaft (1) in fixed engine support (8)
12	Install rubber ring (3)
13	Fit snap ring (4) on center drive shaft (1)
14	Install center drive shaft (1) using the tool	 The snap ring (4) should engage in the transmission housing.	AR33.30-S-7706-01A
		 Puller	*638589013300
15	Tighten nuts on left and right struts of anti-roll bar	 Replace self-locking nut.
		 Turn up anti-roll bar.

17	Connect right drive shaft (9) to center drive shaft (1)		AR33.30-S-6500M
18	Fill transmission with oil	 without code G40 (manual transmission)	AP26.00-D-2601A
		 with code G40 (automatic transmission)	AP27.00-D-2701A
	Check
19	Check for leaks
