2 | Release compressed air from ancillary consumer circuit | ||
3 | Remove soundproofing on frame below | Installation: Only install soundproofing after the leak test. | |
4 | Remove connectors for compressed air line (1) and control line (2) at electric-pneumatic converter (EPW) (Y87) | With compressed air connection system "VOSS 230". | |
With compressed air connection system "VOSS 232" (NG 8, 12) or "SCHÄFER SDF" (NG 6). | |||

5 | Disconnect electrical connector (3) at electropneumatic pressure converter (EPW) (Y87) | ||
6 | Remove bolts (4) and then remove electric-pneumatic converter (EPW) (Y87) downwards | | |
7 | Install in the reverse order | ||

8 | Start the engine and perform an engine test run | ||
9 | Check area of electric-pneumatic converter (EPW) (Y87) for leaks then stop engine | Visual inspection. |
