Danger ! | Risk of injury caused by body parts being pinched or crushed as cab is tilted | Ensure that no one is within the tilting range of the cab as it is being tilted. Always tilt the cab all the way to the end position and secure with the safety strut. | |

| Remove/install | ||
1 | Tilt cab | ||
2 | Remove cylinder head cover | ||
3 | Remove rocker arm assembly | ||
4 | Remove exhaust camshaft (1) | ||
If necessary also check intake camshaft bearing halves (2) by means of a visual inspection for wear, score marks or scratches. | |||
5 | Remove fit bolt (3) for the effected engine brake unit (4) | Bolt, hydraulic engine brake unit to cylinder head | |
6 | Remove engine brake unit (4) | Installation: Check engine brake unit (4) for wear and damage; replace if necessary. | |
7 | Remove sealing ring (5) for engine brake unit (4) | Installation: Replace sealing ring (5). | |
8 | Install in the reverse order |
