Remove poly V-belt of coolant pump and generator, install

Remove/Install

Lethal Hazard from being drawn into rotating vehicle parts

Do not reach into rotating parts.
Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes.
Secure area of rotating vehicle components against unauthorized access.

Open rear lid

Remove poly V-belt of refrigerant compressor of air conditioning system

Push back tensioning device (1) and simultaneously remove poly-V-belt (2)

 Push back tensioning device (1) via center bolt (arrow), at the same time do not slacken bolt.

 Do not bend poly-V-belt (2), in order to avoid damage.



Inspect

Check poly-V-belt (2) for condition and damage, replace if necessary.


