Remove poly V-belt of refrigeration compressor of air conditioning system, install

Remove/install

 Danger!

Lethal Hazard from being drawn into rotating vehicle parts

Do not reach into rotating parts.
Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes.
Secure area of rotating vehicle components against unauthorized access.

Open rear lid

Remove V-belt of fan drive

Turn back tensioning device (1) and fix

 Use 1/2 inch toggle and place into square (arrow). In case of overlapping of bore (2) and eyelet (3), fix tensioning device (1) by inserting a suitable pin.

Remove poly V-belt (4).

 Do not bend poly-V-belt (4), in order to avoid damage.



Inspect

Check poly-V-belt (4) for condition and damage, replace if necessary.



Install in the reverse order
