1 | Open tailgate and right rear side flap | ||
2 | Loosen nut (4) | ||
3 | Remove screw (3) | Installation: Screw in bolt (3) up to the stop and unscrew again by around 10 revolutions. | |
4 | Open vent valve (5) (arrow) | This opens the compressed air cylinder (2). | |
5 | Remove the bearing pins (6) from the compressed air cylinder (2) | Installation: Bearing pin (6). | |
6 | Remove poly V-belt (1) | When removing, swivel the refrigerant compressor to the side of the engine. Depending on the space available, it may be necessary to remove the rear bumper: | |
Remove/install rear bumper | |||
7 | Install in the reverse order | ||
8 | Start engine | This will restore the correct belt tension. | |
9 | Turn off engine | ||
10 | Check that the poly-V belt (1) is seated correctly |
