1 | Open engine compartment flap at rear left | ||
2 | Separate intake hose (1) from turbocharger (3) | Slacken securing clip for this step. | |
3 | Seal off connections of oil feed line (6) and oil return flow line (10) of turbocharger (3), take off gaskets | Installation: - Clean sealing surfaces, replace gaskets. - Pour fresh engine oil into turbocharger bearing housing at oil feed hole (after fitting on oil return flow line). | |

4 | Unbolt exhaust connection (4) from flap connection (5) | Installation: Clean sealing surfaces, replace gasket and nuts. | |

5 | Unbolt turbocharger (3) from exhaust manifold (2) | Installation: Clean sealing surfaces, replace gasket and nuts. | |

6 | Unbolt turbocharger from connection pipe (7) to charge air cooler | Slacken clips (8) attaching connection hose (9) for this step and push connection hose in direction of connection pipe. | |
7 | Take off turbocharger (3) | Seal all openings at turbocharger with caps. | |
8 | Unbolt exhaust connection (4) from turbocharger (3) | First of all, mark installation position | |
Installation: Clean sealing surfaces, replace nuts. | |||
