Slacken hexagon bolt (4) at supporting bracket



Position engine to 15° after TDC of cylinder 1

 Do not crank engine in opposite direction of rotation

Turn setting screw (5) until both lamps at the position sensor come on

 Direction of turning setting screw:

To the right = start of delivery retarded.

To the left = start of delivery advanced.

If the adjustment facility is not adequate, the injection pump has to be re-positioned. 
