Do not fill engine oil into beverage containers.

Remove

Remove timing case cover

Check

Set piston of cylinder 1 to top dead center (TDC)

 Turn crankshaft on belt pulley (3) clockwise until marking (B) matches marking (C).

Check whether markings (A) are visible, as shown

If markings (A) are not visible, as shown



Turn crankshaft on belt pulley (3) by another clockwise rotation until marking (B) matches marking (C).

Check whether markings (A) are visible, as shown

If markings (A) are not visible, as shown



Set basic position of camshafts.
