Danger!

Risk of death caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform.

Align vehicle between the columns of the lifting platform and position the four support plates at the lifting platform support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer.

Fit the retaining lock (3) for the crankshaft and starter ring gear

Remove bolts (4)

 Installation: In order to exclude angular errors, tightening according to angular degrees must not be performed with a bending rod torque wrench.



Remove the flywheel (5) or drive plate

 Installation: The cylinder pin (6) determines the installation position.



Checking

6.1

Check pilot bearing (7) in the flywheel (5)

Transmission 716.6

 If noisy or rough running and there is wear on the flywheel.

Check rear crankshaft radial seal (8)

 Replace rear crankshaft radial sealing ring (8) if necessary:



Remove/install end cover
