Remove engine cover

 Installation: Ensure correct seating of the engine cover.

Remove engine air intake duct upstream of air filter

Remove charge air pipe upstream of charge air cooler

Detach poly-V belt and place to one side

Remove screw/bolt (1)

 Place counterholder on the screw/bolts (1) and loosen the screw/bolts (1).

 Bolt, belt pulley to crankshaft

Detach belt pulley/vibration damper (3) and remove upwards

 Installation: Pay attention to the pilot bushing (2).

Install in the reverse order

 Flywheel, drive plate, vibration damper, starter ring gear
