Operation steps 2 and 4

	Removing
1	Remove belt pulley/vibration damper (1)		AR03.30-W-1600C
2	Remove radial shaft sealing ring (2)		AR03.20-W-3000-02A
		 Removal and insertion device	*541589023300
	Checking
3	Check contact surface of the radial shaft sealing ring (2) on the crankshaft flange or on the race	 If there is galling on the crankshaft flange or on race: 
		Mount new race onto the crankshaft.	AR03.20-W-2570C
	Install
4	Install radial shaft sealing ring (2)	 New radial shaft sealing ring (2) on the outer surface dry and on the contact surface wetted with engine oil. If a race is mounted on the crankshaft flange then a radial shaft sealing ring (2) with a large inside diameter must be installed.	AR03.20-W-3000-01A
		 Removal and insertion device	*541589023300
5	Install belt pulley/vibration damper (1)		AR03.30-W-1600C
 Danger!	Risk of accident caused by vehicle starting off by itself when engine is running. Risk of injury caused by contusions and burns during starting procedure or when working near the engine as it is running	Secure vehicle to prevent it from moving by itself. 6	Start engine and perform an engine test run
7	Stop engine and check the radial shaft sealing ring (2) for leaks	 Visual inspection.
