Remove oil filter element and check for outer metal abrasion or swollen condition of the oil filter element disks

Only if damage is severe at cylinder head and at cylinder head gasket.

For metal abrasion or a swollen condition:



Replace coolant in oil circuit, engine oil and oil filter element.



Degrease, decalcify cooling system

Only in case of a swollen oil filter element.
