If play exists replace tie rod link or | |||
Replace drag link. On model 140 the left-hand drag link, on models 202, 208, 170 the right-hand one is a pivot joint. This prevents any pivot movement in the drag links. | |||
4 | Check seals and condition of rubber boots (11b) | If rubber boot is not tight replace tie rod link, or | |
Replace drag link. | |||
5 | Check steering coupling | It must not have any play, if necessary replace steering coupling. | |
6 | Check steering gear for play | If play exists adjust vehicle's steering gear. Note setting instructions. |
