		 Before mounting a wheel-and-tire assembly all the operation steps listed in the linked description must be conducted carefully. The complete wheel can otherwise work its way loose from the vehicle.

	Install
6	Change round wheel-and-tire assemblies on front and rear axles	If necessary, subject to separate repair order and only for vehicles without mixed tires.
		 Maintain running direction of wheel and tire assemblies. Otherwise handling characteristics and handling comfort may be impaired and tire wear increased.
7	Mount wheels using wheel lift and tighten wheel bolts	 Observe the tightening sequence (1 to 5) and tightening torque.

8	Lower vehicle
9	Correct tire pressure of front and rear axle tires	 With CODE 475 (Tire pressure monitor (Siemens))Only use valve caps made of plastic. There is otherwise a risk of corrosion.
		In the event of unusual tire pressure loss:
		
		Determine and rectify cause, subject to separate repair order.

10	Mount hubcaps	Vehicles with hubcaps
		 Check for correct positioning of hubcap to valve and for correct seating. Otherwise the valve will be damaged or the hubcap will be lost.
11	Activate the tire pressure monitoring system	Only for wheel-and-tire assembly change, tire replacement or a change in tire pressure.
