2 | Check wheel hubs outside and inside for leaks | Slightly wet areas are safe. Rectify more severe leaks with constant oil loss immediately (against a separate order). | |
Danger! | Risk of death. Death may result if vehicle slips or topples from the lifting platform. | Align vehicle between the columns of the hydraulic hoist and position the four support plates below the hoist support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer. | |
3 | Lift the front axle and rotate the wheels until the oil level marking (31) is horizontal | See Operating Instructions | |
4 | Lower the front axle and unscrew plug for the oil filler opening (30) | ||
5 | Check oil level | The oil level is correct when the oil reaches up to the lower edge of the oil filler opening. Correct oil level if necessary. | |
6 | Screw in oil filler opening bolt (30) | Replace sealing ring. |
