Risk of death caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform.

Align vehicle between vehicle lift columns and position the four support plates at the vehicle lift support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer.

Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and safety glasses.
Do not pour transmission oil into beverage bottles.

Draining

Lift vehicle on vehicle lift



Vehicle must be horizontal.
Otherwise, the manual transmission will not be filled correctly. An incorrect oil filling quantity can lead to a leakage and material damage.

Clean area around filling screw (1) and drain screw (2)

Remove filler plug (1)

Remove drain screw (2) and completely drain off gear oil

 To do so, place a suitable receptacle under drain screw (2).

Screw in drain screw (2)

 Replace the sealing ring and make sure that it is seated correctly. Oil thread slightly.

 Drain screw to transmission housing

Filling

Pour in oil until it reaches lower edge of filler opening

 Gear oil

Screw in filler screw (1)

 Replace the sealing ring and make sure that it is seated correctly. Oil thread slightly.
