2 | Check radiator, additional radiator and charge air cooler for external contamination | The fins of the radiator, additional radiator and charge air cooler must not be clogged up with dirt.
3 | Clean radiator, additional radiator and charge air cooler | Always direct the hot water jet at right angles to the radiator to avoid damaging the radiator, additional radiator and charge air cooler lamellae.
Begin by cleaning the radiator in the opposite direction to the flow of cooling air. Then remove remaining dirt from fan side. Blow out slight soiling with compressed air or spray out with water. Remove heavy soiling with a hot-water high-pressure cleaner.
