Install

Clean contact surfaces of the edge guards (1, 2).

Cleaner

Apply separation line (area A) to the edge guards (1) as shown.

Model 470, 471 with code W1B (rear window protection)

 To do this, place edge guards (1) on the platform paneling and mark separation lines (area A) at the installation height of the rear window protective grille (3).

Carry out respective cut (area A) on edge guards (1).

Place edge guards (1) on platform paneling and align.

 Place edge guards (1) flush on the contours of the platform paneling.
Helper required.

Detach protective foils (4) on the edge guards (1).

Attach edge guards (1) to the platform paneling.

 To do this, press the edge guards (1) from the outside flush onto the contours of the platform paneling from the rear to the front (arrow C).
Helper required.

Press on edge guards (1) from the top.

Place edge guard (2) on the rear dropside and align.


The edge guard (2) must lie flush on the contour of the dropside.
Otherwise, this can result in damage during loading and unloading.

 The edge guard (2) must cover the truckbed liner without a gap.
Helper required.

Detach protective foils (5) from the edge guard (2).

Install edge guard (2) on the rear dropside.


The edge guard (2) must cover the truckbed liner without a gap and lie flush on the contour of the dropside.
Otherwise, this can result in damage during loading and unloading.

 To do this, press edge guard (2) from the outside onto the contours of the rear dropside from right to left (arrow B).
Helper required.

Press edge guard (2) from the top.
