6 | Unclip left and right fender liner from bumper (1) | The fender liners are fastened in the wheel arch with three retaining clips and on the bumper (1) two retaining clips. | |

7 | Detach bumper (1) on both sides from mounting rail of front-end paneling and pull towards front | Helper required. | |
8 | Unclip outside temperature sensor (B14) from bumper (1) | Model 906 with code J65 (Outside temperature sensor) | |
9 | Disconnect electrical connectors (5) on left front fog lamp and right front fog lamp | Model 906 with code L16 (Front fog lamp, Halogen) | |
10 | Disconnect Parktronic electrical connector from front bumper (X26/27) | Model 906 with code EZ8 (PARKTRONIC) | |
11 | Disconnect electrical connector (6) from COLLISION PREVENTION ASSIST control unit | Model 906 with code JA6 (COLLISION PREVENTION ASSIST) | |
12 | Remove bumper (1) | ||
13 | Attach rivet nuts for license plate bracket | When replacing bumper (1). | |
