1 | Remove shift lever. | ||
2 | Remove protective cap (1). | ||
3 | Drive out cylindrical pin (3) using a drift punch (8 mm dia.). | ||
4 | Remove lower section of shift lever (2) using an impact extractor. | Impact extractor | |

| Installing | ||
5 | Insert lower section of shift lever (2). | ||
6 | Drive in straight pin (3) using a drift punch. | There should be a clearance of approx. 2.5 mm on both sides. | |
7 | Install protective cap (1). | Replace if damaged. | |
8 | Install shift lever. |
