Remove rear engine power take-off

Unscrew nut (12)

Counterhold output flange (10) with retainer wrench (13).

Installation: Coat nut (12) with thread locking compound and counterhold output flange (10) using the retainer wrench (13).

Remove washer (11), output flange (10) and cover (9)

Pull shaft with drive gear (1) out of bearing housing (5) and remove pressure plate (4)

Installation: Glue pressure plate (4) to bearing housing (5) with Loctite. Note the adhesion area (arrow).

Remove sealing ring (2)

Remove radial sealing ring (8)

Installation: Install radial sealing ring (8) with suitable drift, observe installation depth (A).

Take out thrust piece (7) and pressure plate (6)

Installation: Glue pressure plate (6) to bearing housing (5) with Loctite. Note the adhesion area (arrow).

Remove sealing ring (3)

Visually inspect both bearings (5.1) in bearing housing (5) for wear

Replace bearing housing (5) if necessary.

Assemble in the reverse order
