| Removing, installing | ||
1 | Adjust rear seat all the way forward. | ||
2 | Remove the screws securing the seat height adjustment motor (1). | Pull up the seat until access to the screws (2) and the plug-in wiring connection (5, 6) is available. | |
3 | Cut off the wire ties (7). | ||
4 | Separate the plug-in wiring connection (5, 6) from the seat height adjustment motor (M18m1 on left, M19m1 on right). | Mark the terminals to prevent incorrect connections later on. | |
5 | Remove screws from bracket (2). | ||
6 | Remove bracket (3) from seat frame. | Installation: Apply a light coating of grease to the plastic tab (4) prior to installation. | |
7 | Remove seat height adjustment motor (M18m1 on left, M19m1 on right). | ||
8 | Install by reversing the removal sequence. | ||
9 | Run an operational check on the rear seat. | See Operating Instructions |
