Remove left and right side paneling in trunk

Loosen bracket with sound system amplifier control unit and lay down to side

Model 207.4 with code (810) Sound system

 Do not kink optical fiber conductor or route over sharp edges or in radiuses smaller than 25 mm, otherwise they can be damaged and must be replaced.

 Do not disconnect electrical leads.

Disconnect connector (3) from soft top compartment lid locked limit switch (S84/23)

 Model 207.4 on right side of vehicle, model 209.4 on left side of vehicle.

Unclip safety bolt (4) and pull out hydraulic cylinder (1)

Press foam rubber (1) for hydraulic cylinder (5) to side with assembly wedge (6).

Remove retainer (7) form pin (8)

Pull out bolts (8) and remove hydraulic cylinder (1) from bracket (11)

Unclip soft top compartment lid locked limit switch (S84/23) from hydraulic cylinder (1)

 Model 207.4 on right side of vehicle, model 209.4 on left side of vehicle.

Remove locking plate (9) from hydraulic lines (10)

Pull hydraulic lines (10) out of hydraulic cylinder (1)

 Collect hydraulic oil which flows out in a suitable vessel.

Remove all sealing rings from hydraulic lines (10)

Slid new sealing rings onto hydraulic lines (10)

 Coat new sealing rings with hydraulic oil.



Install in the reverse order

Check hydraulic system oil level

 If necessary correct oil level


