8 | Loosen side paneling (1) from trunk lid sealing frame | Do not remove trunk lid sealing frame from body, otherwise it is necessary to replace trunk lid sealing frame. | |
9 | Lift side paneling (1) out in rear area so that it is possible to remove the side paneling (1) through the open soft top later. | ||
10 | Remove retractable partition (4) | ||
11 | Remove gas-operated strut (9) | Do not remove retainer from gas-filled strut (9), otherwise the tension of the retainer is not longer ensured. | |

13 | Loosen side paneling (1) from soft top sealing frame | ||

17 | Loosen bolt (14) until end stop (15) can be removed | ||
18 | Remove end stop (15) | ||
19 | Remove side paneling (1) | ||
20 | Install in the reverse order |
