1 | Download stored data of tachograph (A56, P9) with the aid of the workshop card | Only if a new tachograph is installed. Upon completion of the repair work hand over the downloaded data to the vehicle operator. | |
2 | Insert the extraction hooks (1) in the holes in the housing of the tachograph (A56, P9) and slide in as far as the stop | Installation: Remove the extraction hooks from the tachograph before installing. | |
3 | Using the extraction hooks, pull the tachograph (A56, P9) out of the installation opening | ||
4 | Detach the tachograph wiring harness and vehicle speed sensor wiring harness from the back of the housing of the tachograph (A56, P9) | ||

5 | Install the tachograph wiring harness and vehicle speed sensor wiring harness on the back of the housing of the tachograph (A56, P9) | ||
6 | Position the tachograph (A56, P9) at the installation opening and press in until it latches noticeably in the installation opening | ||
7 | Perform tachograph inspection | Only after installing a new speed sensors or tachograph sensor or a new tachograph (A56, P9). | |
