Installation: Grease splined profile with long-term grease.

Check thrust bearing at central release bearing, replace if necessary.

Slacken retaining bolts (1) for pressure plate (2) by one turn at a time

  Slackening individual bolts completely can lead to damage on the pressure plate.

 Installation: Ensure that the alignment punch can move freely when tightening the bolts by moving and turning it slightly.Pay attention to the dowel pins (5) on the flywheel (4). Ensure that the pressure plate is drawn evenly into the fitting at the flywheel.

Remove pressure plate (2) with coated disc (3)

 Do not throw or drop pressure plate and drive plate.

Driver discs contaminated with oil or cleaning agent should always be replaced.

 Installation: Center drive plate.
Observe lettering "Transmission side"

Check flywheel and all the removed parts for wear, crack pattern and score marks. Clean friction surfaces of pressure plate and flywheel

 If the pressure plate is reused, reset adjusting ring of self-adjusting clutch before installing.

 Operate clutch pedal at least five times before starting the engine.
