Risk of injury caused by being caught or pinched as cab is tilted

Ensure that no one is within the tilting range of the cab as it is being tilted. Always tilt the cab all the way to the end position and secure with the safety strut.

Check state of corrosion protection on chassis

On chassis without Tectyl underfloor protection, code (Y64)

 On chassis with Tectyl underfloor protection, code (Y64), the given corrosion protection must be checked at regular intervals and, if necessary, refreshed.

High-pressure cleaner wand

 When performing the body wash and underbody wash, the water temperature must not be higher than 40 °C and the spray pressure not greater than 30 bar.
Otherwise the corrosion protection or the coat of paint may be damaged.

 Observe distance between high-pressure cleaner wand (1) and the surface to be cleaned.
The distance must not be less than 30 cm.

Radiator

 If there are any persistent deposits, keep a sufficient distance between the high-pressure cleaner wand (1) and the radiator (3), otherwise the radiator (3) slats may be damaged.

 For light to standard deposits on the radiator (3), a water hose (2) should suffice for cleaning purposes.
