Light stains on interior surfaces through use, e.g. of sunscreen containing nano form titanium dioxide

Please note that there have been an increasing number of customer complaints referring to light stains on interior surfaces such as, e.g. on steering wheels, seats, door lining, etc.

These stains are caused, e.g. through the use of sunscreen containing nano form titanium dioxide.

The white pigments responsible for staining are deposited deep into the surface structure and they cannot be removed with commercially available cleaners and microfiber cloths.

Therefore, we advise that only cosmetic products with textile and clothing protection that do not contain any "Titanium dioxide in nano form" in the listing are used.

Interior surfaces are not the only products where this form of staining can occur. The textile industry also makes reference to this form of staining when corresponding cosmetics are used.

The cleaning of this type of soiling or the replacement of any soiled interior component parts may not be settled through the warranty and goodwill channel.
