We ensure the mobility and satisfaction of our customers through rapid defect localization, transparency about costs and the duration of the workshop visit as well as effective replacement part supply. To provide you with optimal support in this context, the new "Repair forecast" function allows you to have the quick test result analyzed in real time. A repair forecast result is displayed on XENTRY Diagnostics within a few seconds following completion of the quick test. The forecast supplies up to three possible fault causes in the categories of damage code, operation item and part number.
The function will be available worldwide as of the 07/2017 release.
Advantages
The aim of the repair forecast function is to indicate the most probable repair solution. The forecasting algorithm is based on the worldwide experience of Daimler AG as gained from previously completed repairs.
We are sure that this function will help you to take your first step towards a correct diagnosis, in much the same way as the familiar search engines currently in use today.
Important: The result of the repair forecast is not a substitute for the specified tests and test procedures. Alongside XENTRY Diagnostics (as of update 07/2017), a stable Internet connection is a prerequisite for using the new function.
