Camshaft adjustment valve, design | Electromagnetic valve with coil, armature, compression spring and control plunger. When deenergized, connections A and T are linked hydraulically. When energized, the control plunger opens connections A and P. Return flow T is shut off. | ||
Camshaft adjustment valve, function | Voltage for the camshaft adjustment valves is supplied by circuit 87. Actuation is performed by the ME control module at the ground side and clocked. A starting current of as much as 2.6 A is permissible for short periods (on/off ratio approx. 95 %). The holding current is approx. 0.55 A at a clock frequency of approx. 1 kHz. |
