2 | Separate water drain hose (1) at connecting points for upper center trunk paneling (2) on left and right | ||
3 | Detach water drain hose (1) from upper center trunk paneling (2) | ||
4 | Route water drain hose (1) through opening in upper center trunk paneling (2) | ||
5 | Press upper center trunk paneling (2) down at sides | Installation: Observe installation position of side trunk lining (3) on left and right in upper center trunk paneling (2) (arrows). | |
6 | Press side trunk lining (3) on left and right to one side | ||
7 | Detach upper center trunk paneling (2) | Installation: If the upper center trunk paneling (2) is installed improperly, damage can occur to the roof opening mechanism when opening the Vario roof by catching on the rear shelf. Installing: When installing the upper center trunk paneling (2) ensure that the guide bolt (6) moves properly into the bracket (5) in the fuel tank cover (4). | |
8 | Remove upper center trunk paneling (2) from trunk toward rear | Installation: Observe installation position of upper center trunk paneling (2) on fuel tank cover (4). | |
9 | Install in the reverse sequence |
