Remove/install center paneling in trunk

Remove/install

Remove bracket for divider in trunk

Separate water drain hose (1) at connecting points for upper center trunk paneling (2) on left and right

Detach water drain hose (1) from upper center trunk paneling (2)

Route water drain hose (1) through opening in upper center trunk paneling (2)

Press upper center trunk paneling (2) down at sides

 Installation: Observe installation position of side trunk lining (3) on left and right in upper center trunk paneling (2) (arrows).

Press side trunk lining (3) on left and right to one side

Detach upper center trunk paneling (2)

 Installation: If the upper center trunk paneling (2) is installed improperly, damage can occur to the roof opening mechanism when opening the Vario roof by catching on the rear shelf.

 Installing: When installing the upper center trunk paneling (2) ensure that the guide bolt (6) moves properly into the bracket (5) in the fuel tank cover (4).

Remove upper center trunk paneling (2) from trunk toward rear

 Installation: Observe installation position of upper center trunk paneling (2) on fuel tank cover (4).

Install in the reverse sequence
