Remove passenger seat above transmission maintenance flap.

Remove transmission maintenance flap.

Remove exhaust flex pipe (1)

Raise vehicle

Remove engine compartment panel below exhaust

Unbolt muffler (2) from front and rear brackets

Secure muffler to prevent it dropping down.

Installation: Install new self-locking nuts.

Unbolt tail pipe (3) from muffler (2) and take off

Take muffler (2) off downward

Install in the reverse order

Inspect

Inspect leaktightness and condition of exhaust system
