1 | Operate brake pedal several times with engine switched off. | This reduces the vacuum in the brake booster (2). | |
2 | Remove vacuum line (1) from brake booster (2). | Seal connection on brake booster (2). | |
Installation: Inspect gasket for damage. | |||
Record plug | |||
If the seal is damaged, | |||

replace seal. | |||
3 | Remove vacuum line (1). | To do so, remove vacuum line (1) from line (3) of vacuum pump and route out of engine compartment. | |

4 | Install in the reverse order. | ||
