1 | Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (min. 2 m). | ||
2 | Reduce vacuum in brake booster by depressing brake pedal several times. | ||
3 | Remove lower engine compartment paneling. | ||
4 | Unclip hose (3) from retaining clip (6). | ||
5 | Pull hose (3) out of engine carrier (7). | ||
6 | Disconnect electrical connection (2). | ||
7 | Detach vacuum line (4) from electric vacuum pump (1). | Seal connections. | |

8 | Remove electric vacuum pump (1) with holder. | To do this, remove the bolts (5). | |
| Install | ||
9 | Install electric vacuum pump (1) with holder. | Screw in bolts (5) to do this. | |
Screw, electrical vacuum pump holder to axle drive module | |||
10 | Attach vacuum line (4) to electric vacuum pump (1). | Remove stop plugs. | |
Record plug | |||
11 | Connect electrical connector (2). | ||
12 | Insert hose (3) into engine carrier (7). | ||
13 | Clip hose (3) into retaining clips (6). | Check retaining clips (6) for damage. | |
If corresponding findings are present, | |||

Replace damaged retaining clips (6). | |||
14 | Install lower engine compartment paneling. | ||
15 | Reset runtime status of electrical vacuum pump (1) using vehicle diagnosis system. | When replacing the electric vacuum pump (1). | |
