 Warning

Risk of injury to skin and eyes suffering scalding from contact with hot coolantspray. Risk of poisoning from swallowing coolant.

Do not open cooling system unless coolant temperature is below 90 °C. Open cap slowly and release the pressure. Do not pour coolant into beverage containers.
Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and safety glasses.

Drain off

Remove cap (1) from the coolant expansion reservoir (2).

Remove lower engine compartment lining

Push a suitable hose (4) onto the fitting on the radiator.

Loosen drain screw (3) until the coolant drains off.

 Collect coolant with a suitable container.

Remove drain screw (3) completely.

Check O-ring of the drain screw (3) for damage.

If damage is identified,



replace drain screw (3).

Screw in drain screw (3).

Detach hose from the fitting on the radiator (4).

Install lower engine compartment lining.

Pour in coolant and bleed engine cooling system.
