| Remove/install | ||
1 | Connect vehicle diagnosis system and begin commissioning of control unit (1). | When replacing the control unit (1). | |

2 | Detach ground line of on-board electrical system battery. | ||
3 | Remove cover(4). | To do this, remove expansion rivets (5). | |
Installation: Check expansion rivets (5) for damage. | |||
If necessary, | |||

Replace damaged expansion rivets (5). | |||
4 | Remove air filter housing. | ||
5 | Disconnect electrical connection (3). | ||
6 | Remove control unit (1). | To do this, unscrew nuts (2). | |
Nut, fuel injection system control unit to bracket for fuel injection system control unit | |||
7 | Install in the reverse order. | ||
