| Remove/install | ||
1 | Perform commissioning of ME-SFI [ME] control unit (N3/10). | If ME-SFI [ME] control unit (N3/10) is replaced. | |

2 | Clamp off ground line of on-board electrical system battery (G1). | ||
3 | Remove cover over ME-SFI [ME] control unit (N3/10). | ||
4 | Release retaining clips (1). | ||
5 | Release and disconnect electrical connectors (2, 3) at ME-SFI [ME] control unit (N3/10). | ||
6 | Remove ME-SFI [ME] control unit (N3/10). | ||
7 | Install in the reverse order. | ||
8 | Read out and delete fault memory. | ||
