Remove/install injection nozzle together with nozzle holder

Risk of explosion from fuel igniting, risk of poisoning from inhaling and swallowing fuel as well as risk of injury to eyes and skin from contact with fuel.

No fire, sparks, naked flames or smoking.
Pour fuels only into suitable and appropriately marked containers.

Wear protective clothing when handling fuel.

Detach injection lines

Detach fuel hoses (7)

In addition to the fuel hoses for leak oil, detach the rubber end caps from the hose connections of the nozzle holder (3).

 Collect the fuel which flows out in a suitable vessel.

Remove plug (5) from the slot in the cylinder head (6)

 Installation: Check whether rubber plug (5) can be re-used, install new part if necessary.

Unscrew thrust bolt (2) of nozzle holder (3)

 Installation: Only the corresponding special wrenches may be used for tightening the thrust bolts.



Knock nozzle holder (3) out of cylinder head (6)



 Do not strike the nozzle.

Installation: Insert nozzle holder with the injection nozzle, when doing this pay attention to locking element on nozzle holder and slot in cylinder head.

Remove sealing ring (4) from cylinder head

 Installation: Install new sealing ring.

Install in the reverse order

 Inspect injection nozzle before installing, see: 
