2	Inspect valve guides (1, 2) for wear	 The valve guides (1, 2) must not show any surface damages, replace valve guides (1, 2) if necessary: Steps 4 - 11.
3	Check inner  (B) of valve guides (1, 2)	 If the specified dimensions are not maintained, replace valve guides (1, 2): Steps 4 - 11.

		 Machine bore, if necessary, in cylinder head to the next oversize of the valve guides:

		 Turn reamer (6) only in clockwise direction.

	Install
 Danger!	Risk of injury when handling liquid nitrogen or from touching extremely cool objects. Risk of asphyxiation from inhaling nitrogen gas.	Wear heat-protective gloves, protective clothing and full eye protection. Ensure that the work area is adequately ventilated.	AS00.00-Z-0003-01A
6	Place new valve guides (1, 2) into supercooling box	 Use valve guides to match the bore  in the cylinder head (A). Fill supercooling box with liquid nitrogen and supercool valve guide for approx. 20 to 30 min.

7	Press in new valve guides (1, 2) using drift with spacer sleeve (7) from above into the cylinder head (3)	Observe distance from top edge of valve guide to contact surface of valve spring	*BE05.30-N-1005-02I

8	Pre-work inner  (B) of valve guide (1, 2)	 Pre-work valve guide with adjustable reamer to just below the specification.
9	Machine inner  (B) of valve guide (1, 2)	 Ream the valve guide with the reamer (9) to the specified dimension.
