1 | Open engine compartment flap and additional flap | ||
2 | Remove V-belt of fan drive | ||
3 | Remove V-belt of generator | ||
4 | Remove V-belt of coolant pump | ||
5 | Attach cranking device to clutch housing | To counterhold crankshaft | |

6 | Remove hexagon collar bolts (5) for attaching belt pulley / vibration damper to crankshaft | Counterhold the crankshaft with the aid of the cranking device for this step. | |

7 | Take out belt pulley / vibration damper (3, 4, 6) | If necessary, take off belt pulley by slackening hexagon bolts (1) of vibration damper. When installing, fit three-groove and two-groove belt pulley one after the other onto vibration damper, insert hexagon bolts (1) with spring washer (2) and tighten fully. | |

8 | Take of splash ring (7) | ||
9 | Install in the reverse order | Before installing, clean all parts, inspect for wear and replace if necessary. |
